This multifaceted park full of wooded trails is set on 93.7 acres of undeveloped land. The trails are part of the Southern Section of the Radnor Hiking Trail System. One of the greatest botanical gardens in the region is just minutes away. The main house located on the garden property was a "summer cottage" to a Philadelphia pharmaceutical manufacturer and his family in 1912.  Upon inheriting the estate, the son of the Rosengarten and Penrose family, established a foundation ensuring that Chanticleer would be developed as a public garden.  It consists of 13 beautifully unique, immaculately cared for sections to explore. The garden is open from March 31st through October 31st, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Wednesday through Sunday.
